In Response to Peter B2C and B2B
I learned about business to business and business to consumer advertisement before this class and after learning it you can see it everywhere. I was reading an article about how when businesses are creating advertisements for other businesses they try not to make it too grabbing or exciting like an advertisement would be towards a consumer. All marketing has the same underlying principles and fundamentals. It doesnt matter if its B2B or B2C. They are both trying to grab the attention of an audience. Yea the audiences are differnt but its still marketing. I think you should be bold and not boring when your trying to grab someones attention. You want to stand out and be different and not produce the same idea that have already been done. I feel like in B2B everyone follows the same made up guidlines of "Business Advertisement" which is just a concept that everyone follows everyone else and how they do it because the company doesnt want to look like an idiot. Although each one is grabbing a different audience you would think that marketing is marketing in the sense that you should use the best marketing techniques and go for it. I think B2B is alittle more boring. If I was working for a marketing firm I think I would rather do business to consumer.
